Terps vs Oregon State (Emerald Bowl)
After spending a few days seeing the town all we needed to make our trip complete was a victory by the Terps.  Everyone in our group made the trip to the game and Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tony were met at the game by a friend who lives in the area.  AT&T Park is a beautiful stadium although it was odd seeing a football game played in a baseball stadium.  Things looked good at halftime but in the end the Terps fell a little short (although they did win the video game challenge at Jillian's earlier in the week).  The game kind of went south for the Terps along with the weather.  By the second-half there was a steady drizzle which brought out the white Terps ponchos.  Even a near rumble in our section, bad weather and a Terps loss could not dampen our spirit as we went back to the hotel bar where we were joined by Danny for a while before he headed out with Aunt Lisa M's hair twin (Chris Turner) and a few other teammates.  We hung out at the bar and shared lots of laughs while the kids (and Uncle Tony) went ice skating. (since the pictures came from 3 or 4 cameras they are in no particular order)

Terrapin Nation in San Francisco, CA
Danny and the Terps sent us on our second vacation in two years and this time it was to San Francisco, CA.  While the Terps were preparing to take on the Beavers from Oregon State, our "little" group (Mom, Dad, Tom, Kate, Aunt Lisa E, Uncle Jim, Jimmy, Sarah, Aunt Lisa M and Uncle Tony) went sightseeing around 'Frisco.  We started out on a 49 mile driving tour but spent most of the first day around the Golden Gate Bridge.  Before the trip was over we eventually made it to a number of tourist stops including: Alcatraz, Sausalito, Ghirardelli Square, Fishermans Wharf, Lombard Street, Chinatown, Transamerica building, Pier 39 to see the seals, Muir Woods to see the giant redwoods, rode the trolley cars and much, much more.  What a trip! (since the pictures came from 3 or 4 cameras they are in no particular order)

Terps vs NC State
Mom, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Tony and Dad take off on another road-trip and this time Tommy and Kate make the trip.  We had a blast! We almost lost Aunt Lisa for the trip on Friday night when she took a tumble after stepping into a hole outside Outback.  After dinner the grown-ups prepared for the game by closing down the hotel bar.  On Saturday we enjoyed a scaled back tailgate and then headed down to the stadium to see the Terps roll all over the Wolfpack as we became bowl-eligible for the second straight year!  Danny entered the game in the 4th quarter to the delight of his many fans.
OB called and left a voice mail for Mom saying he saw Danny, and Pops talked to Uncle Jim and Uncle Bob on the way home.  Aunt Lisa and Katie were on TV during the second half.  We all went and congratulated Danny after the game before he boarded the bus.  Coach Brattan, Edwin Williams and Dane Randolph stopped by while we were speaking with Dan.

Terps vs Florida State
Plans to meet up with Uncle Bob, Aunt Jenny, Emily, Haley and friends went out the window when Danny received a concussion during practice.  Dan was not cleared to practice/play and therefore didn't make the trip but that didn't stop the Florida-based Terp fans.  They even sent back a program from the game.

Terps vs Boston College
The Terps beat their second top-10 team of the season and the fans rushed the field at the conclusion of the game to celebrate.  It was a very exciting game on a very cold night at Byrd Stadium.  In attendance for the game was Mom, Dad, Tommy, Kate, Uncle Tony, Aunt Lisa M, Uncle Jim, Aunt Lisa E, Sarah, Jimmy, Uncle Ted and Aunt Debbie.

Terps vs North Carolina
Mom and Dad took a road trip with Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tony to Chapel Hill, NC to see Danny and the Terps take on the Tar Heels.  We had a great time on the trip, lots of laughs but we had a very tough time finding any fried chicken for the game - where the hell is the Hardees!  We got 2 extra guest tickets for RJ and a friend of his who of course wore his Tar Heel garb and insisted on being a vocal NC supporter in the middle of the Maryland parent's section.  Thankfully he moved after Pops reminded him that he was a guest and told him to "sit down and shut up" before threatening to lay him out.  After the game Coach Brattan stopped by and told Dad how happy the coaches were with Danny and that #65 was "ready to go".  The "old man" was on cloud nine walking back to the car.

Terps vs Clemson
A big crowd was on hand for this one but unfortunately the Terps probably played their worst game of the season.  On hand for the game was Mom, Dad, Kate, Tommy, Aunt Lisa M, Uncle Tony, Aunt Lisa E, Uncle Jim, Jimmy, Sarah, Patrick, Chris L, Chris C, Grandma Coffren, Uncle Eddie, Uncle Billy, Aunt Sharon, Billy and Nick.  We even got Uncle Jim to the game on Breeders Cup day, although he did bring a laptop and bet from the parking lot!  :)

Terps vs Virginia
Very possibly the worst spot I've ever seen and it cost the Terps the game.  Clinging to a lead with just a minute or so to go the Terps appeared to have stopped Virginia short of the first-down.  That is until the official placed the ball a good yard or two or three from where it should have been.  This horrible call was followed by another at the goal line as the Cavaliers fumbled and the officials called it a touchdown even though they had no idea where the football was.  They were looking for it in the pile of players yet the Terps were running around with it out at the 40 yard line.  Uncle Jim was giving the officials an earful on the sideline.  I added a couple of pictures of the spot at the end of the slideshow. In attendance for the game were Mom, Dad, Kate, Tom, Uncle Jim, Aunt Lisa E, Jimmy, Sarah, Aunt Lisa M and Uncle Tony.

Terps vs Georgia Tech
The Terps pulled out another close one, 28-26 as GT misses a FG with a minute to go.  It was a noon game on an unusually hot October day.  In attendance for the game were Mom, Dad, Kate, Tom, Uncle Jim, Aunt Lisa E, Jimmy, Sarah, Aunt Lisa M, Uncle Tony, Aunt Jean, Aunt Karen, Uncle John, Johnny and Tommy.  The annual Outback Steakhouse tailgate in front of the team house followed the game.

Terps vs West Virginia
It was a Thursday night ESPN game against the hated 4th-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers.  Campus was packed and we ended up parking in the Cole Field House parking deck.  The game got off to a rocky start for the Terps but they were still in it a halftime.  Unfortunately the second-half was all WVU.

Terps vs Villanova
Lots of friends and family on hand to see Danny play in his first college football game.  There was also a lot of current and former NFL players on hand including Boomer Esiason, Stephon Heyer, Jared Gaither, EJ Henderson and Ray Lewis.  With the Terps only leading 10-7 at halftime, the chances of Danny playing didn't look very good.  However a strong third quarter sparked a 31-7 lead and before you knew it "Dan the Man" was on the field.  On hand for the game were Mom, Dad, Kate, Tom, Aunt Lisa M, Uncle Tony, Aunt Lisa E, Uncle Jim, Sarah, Jimmy, Coach O'Brien and his wife, Johnny duFief, Uncle Eddie, Uncle Billy, Billy, Nick.  We ran into Tom and Danny Rossomondo after the game as well as Coach Bitner and his wife.   Coach Swink from Tuscarora and his wife also stopped by to offer their congratulations.

Spring Practice 2 (Terps vs Terps)
These pictures were taken over several visits to College Park to watch Danny in either practice, scrimmage or the Red/White Spring Game.  Before the Spring Game the Terps held an autograph session on the concourse of Byrd Stadium.  There were lots of folks on hand for the spring game including Mom, Dad, Tom, Kate, Aunt Lisa E, Uncle Jim, Jimmy, Sarah, Aunt Lisa M, Uncle Tony, Coach Mangold, the Tuscarora Football coaching staff and 20-30 players.  We also ran into Coach Bitner and his wife at the game.
