Video Clips: 2006

Below are links to video clips from the 2006 Maryland Terrapins football season.  Use the links to the right to access clips from other seasons.

Champs Sports Bowl Clip 1- This clip is of a roll-out pass from Sam Hollenbach to Cory Jackson that ends on the sideline right in front of Danny.

Champs Sports Bowl Clip 2 - This clip is a shot of Coach Friedgen in which Danny appears behind him.  The Coach that enters the picture at the very end in the white shirt and hat is Danny's line coach, Tom Bratten.

Champs Sports Bowl Clip 3 - This clip is of an incomplete Purdue pass that ends on the Maryland sideline directly in front of Danny.

Champs Sports Bowl Clip 4 - This clip is of a 20 yard run by Keon Lattimore that ends on the Maryland sideline in front of Danny.

Champs Sports Bowl Clip 5 - This clip is from the post-game celebration.  In the first segment Danny is walking down the field with the team to sing the victory song to the fans.  In the second segment you can see Johnny duFief (white shirt/red hat) in the crowd as Josh Wilson climbs down out of the stands.

Santa Comes to Christmas Dinner - This clip was shot by Danny on his camera phone when Santa Claus (Coach Friedgen) made an appearance at Christmas dinner.

Summer Camp Scrimmage - This video clip is from Fox 5 Sports who came out to cover one of the scrimmages which the Terps held in August 2006.  You can see Danny in the shots of the team photos.  He is in the top row, far left.  This scene starts at the :57 second mark of the clip.  A higher quality version of this video clip is available (larger file/longer download).

Channel 4 Sports (Champs Sports Bowl) - This video clip is from Channel 4 news on December 23, 2006.  Danny can be seen walking from the bus to the hotel after arriving in Orlando for the bowl game.  This is the same clip which I originally captured on Channel 11 after Therese Shock alerted us to it.  Aunt Karen called later to say that she had seen it on Channel 4 and that is where this video clip was captured from.  A higher quality version of this video clip is available (larger file/longer download).

Wake Forrest Game Clip - This clip is from the opening of the broadcast and you can see Danny coming out of the tunnel on to the field.  He is on the left side.

Channel 11 Sports (Wake Forest) - This video clip is from the Channel 11 news on November 25, 2006.  Danny is walking away from the camera on the right side of the picture. 

Outback Steakhouse Ralph Friedgen Show (NC State Game) - This video clip is on FridgeTV.  Danny appears at the 12:25 mark during the celebration in the locker room.  He is on the left-side of the screen.

Outback Steakhouse Ralph Friedgen Show (Virginia) - This video clip is on FridgeTV.  There is a clip that starts at about the 19:20 mark which is on the Scout Team and what they do each week to help prepare the travel squad for the coming week's opponent.

Outback Steakhouse Ralph Friedgen Show (Middle Tennessee & West Virginia) - This video clip is on FridgeTV.  Danny appears several times throughout the video.  The first time is the 18:13 and later at 18:30.  Danny is wearing number 78 in this clip.

William & Mary Pregame Speech - This video clip is on FridgeTV.  Danny appears in almost the entire clip as Coach Friedgen addresses the team.

Comeback Kids - This video clip is on FridgeTV.  Danny appears at the :50 second mark snapping the ball to Chris Turner who then hands off the Josh Allen.

First Day of Practice - This video clip is on FridgeTV.  Danny first appears at the :24 second mark.  The next time Danny appears is at the 2:05 mark of the video clip when Coach Friedgen is addressing the team.
