Video Clips: 2007

Below are links to video clips from the 2007 Maryland Terrapins football season.  Use the links to the right to access clips from other seasons.

NC State - This is a clip of Maryland's last drive of the game in which Danny made his ACC debut.  Uncle Tony, Aunt Lisa, Kate, Tom, Mom and Dad all came down for the game.  The Terps won 37-0 which made them 6-6 on the season and eligible for a bowl game.  Everyone waited for Danny outside the locker room and talked to him as well as Coach Brattan, Mrs. Friedgen, Edwin Williams and Dane Randolph.  (higher quality/larger  filer/longer download)

NC State Radio Call - This is an audio clip taken from the Terps radio broadcast.  Johnny Holiday can be heard introducing Danny.  (Dad met Johnny Holiday before the North Carolina game and spoke to him about Danny for about 10 minutes.)

NC State Crowd Shots - This video contains 3 clips from the game.  Aunt Lisa, Kate and Mom can all be seen in the first two clips.  They are towards the bottom of the picture shaking pom-poms.  The third clip contains a shot of Aunt Lisa and Kate.

NC State: "Giving him the business" - This clip is from a classic call made by the offical during the 4th quarter of the game.  ()higher quality/larger  filer/longer download

Boston College - This clip comes from the opening of the ABC/ESPN broadcast of the game.  Danny can be seen coming out of the tunnel on the right-hand side of the turtle. (higher quality/larger  filer/longer download)

Edwin Introduces Offense - Dan's friend and teammate Edwin Williams introduced the offense at the begining of the game. (higher quality/larger  filer/longer download) 

North Carolina - This video clip was taken from the ESPN U broadcast of the Terps - Tar Heel game.  Mom, Dad, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tony all came down for the game.  RJ and a friend attended the game as well.  Coach Brattan (Danny's position coach) spoke to Dad after the game.  He said that they (the Terps) were very happy to have Danny in the program and that he was "ready to go" when needed.

Clemson - This video clip is taken from several parts of the Clemson game.  In the first scene Aunt Lisa Edwards can be seen on the right side of the screen.  The second scene in this clip is of Aunt Lisa Martinez and the rest of the Coffren clan.  In the third scene of the clip Chris Leizear can be seen briefly on the right side of the screen about 10 rows up.

"Wing Night" - This video clip comes from a segment of the Ralph Friedgen Outback Steakhouse Show that aired between the Virginia and Clemson games.

Press Conference (October 23, 2007) - This video clip comes from Ralph Friedgen's weekly press conference on Maryland football.

Georgia Tech - Along with a segment showing Danny on the sideline this clip includes a crowd shot showing Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tony, a crowd shot of Mom and Tommy (but you need to look fast) and a couple of snippets showing Uncle Jim and Dad on the sidelines.

Rutgers Recap on Comcast - This video clip was taken from Comcast SportsNet after the Terps win over Rutgers.  Danny can be seen at the end of the clip as the team is singing the fight song.

Rutgers - This video clip was taken from the ABC broadcast of the Terp 34-24 victory over the #10 Rutgers Scarlet Knights.  The video quality is not very good as the clip was first recorded on the cable box DVR and then copied to the handheld camcorder before finally being uploaded to the computer for editing.

Ralph Friedgen Show (Wake Forest) - This clip comes from the Ralph Friedgen show that aired the week after the Wake Forest game.

Ralph Friedgen Show (Florida International & West Virginia) - This clip comes from several segments of the Ralph Friedgen Show that aired the weekend after the West Virginia game.

West Virginia Terp Alley - This video clip is an excerpt from a video posted on the MGN web site.  This is part of the Terp Alley that took place prior to the West Virginia game.  Danny is wearing a jacket with number 95 on the sleeve (his locker number).

Villanova - This clip comprises the last two Maryland drives in their 31-14 victory over the Villanova Wildcats.  These two drives also mark Danny's collegiate debut.  A higher quality version of this video clip is available (larger file/longer download).  NOTE: Both clips are large so they may take a few minutes to download.

Terrapins Rising: Episode 1 - Five clips that Danny is in from the first episode of Terrapins Rising.  The show airs on Comcast Sports Net on Mondays at 8:00 p.m.  All of the complete episodes are available on FridgeTV.

Terrapins Rising: Episode 2 - Four clips from the second episode of Terrapins Rising.

Terrapins Rising: Episode 4 - Three clips from the fourth episode of Terrapins Rising.

Terrapins Rising: Episode 5 - Two clips from the fifth episode of Terrapins Rising.

Terrapins Rising: Episode 6 - This is a fairly long clip (over 7 minutes) that contains a few shots of Danny.  Clip also features Danny's O-Line  coach, Tom Brattan as well as discussion about walk-ons. 

2007 Red/White Spring Game Drive 1 - The first of 3 drives that Danny appeared in during the Terps 2007 Red/White Spring Game.  This was the first drive of the game that resulted in a touchdown.  The O-line wore black jerseys so that they could play for both the Red and White teams.

2007 Red/White Spring Game Drive 2 - Danny joined this drive in progress during the fourth quarter.

2007 Red/White Spring Game Drive 3 - This was the last drive of the game and nearly resulted in another touchdown.
