My name is Danny Edwards and I am a senior at Tuscarora High School in Frederick, MD where I will be graduating in June of 2006.
I am a dedicated hard-worker and quick learner as evidenced by my ability to learn new positions in order to best help my team. As a Freshman on the Frederick High School Junior Varsity team I was a starter at Defensive Tackle. As a Sophomore on the Junior Varsity team at Tuscarora High School (there was no Varsity team) I started at both Fullback and Linebacker. Last year as a Junior I played Offensive Guard and Defensive Nose Guard.
I'm currently a captain on the Tuscarora Titans football team where my primary position this year has been Center. I also served as captain during my Sophomore and Junior Football seasons as well as captain of the Baseball team the past two seasons.
I have received numerous post-season honors including All-State Honorable Mention and selection by the Baltimore Touchdown Club to participate in their 10th Annual High School Senior All-Star Game which I started and played the entire game at Left Guard (#51 in blue). Video clips from the All-Star game are available online and in DVD or VHS format upon request.
